I recently graduated with a B.S. in Marine Biology from the University of New England in spring of 2015. For three years of my undergraduate career, my research project focused on linking movement patterns of Atlantic sturgeon to their diet and prey availability in the Saco River Estuary, Maine.

Originally from Massachusetts, I wanted to pursue a graduate degree close to home and got the opportunity to join the Jordaan Lab in the fall of 2015. Through my experiences during my undergraduate work, I had become extremely interested in spatial ecology for various important fish species. My master’s thesis will be elucidating yellowtail snapper fine-scale movement patterns and habitat use through acoustic telemetry within a marine protected area in St. Croix, U.S.V.I.
